Tesla Bot Introduction.

 Tesla Bot Introduction.

Tesla just announced a perfect human-sized, human-sized sentient robot. This is not a drill. This is something that actually just happened. And on hearing this many things come to mind. So let's get into it. Welcome back to my blogger website www.infoupated.com my name is MAAZ SHAMSI. So lets starting Now these two things that must have come to your mind as soon as you hear it, are number one like me, why Tesla of all companies? And number two, why the robot of all things human? But it really means a lot if you frame it a certain way, but you have to break a few things first to get there. So let's get there. So Tesla, Tesla is a car company, mostly. And I've reviewed their cars, we've seen their announcements, seen their factories, maybe we'll call it a vehicle company. They have a truck, they have a bunch of other stuff, but they have a factory that makes cars. So they are a car company. But just like that specific definition, it's actually pretty common to see Tesla as a software company. Simply because their software benefits and all the things they do with the software in their cars are so important to them. It's like they're a software company that makes electric cars. And so, when you compare the Mercedes of the world or the Audi or BMW of the world, I would never describe those companies as software companies, but for Tesla, that's their main advantage. And part of this software thing that they're doing is this self-driving project, right? Now, aside from all the massively missed time windows and over-optimistic promises and deadlines and things like that, their self-driving is currently, as it is today, some of the most advanced in the world. And it's not because of high-resolution mapping or predetermined routes, it's because Tesla is using its sensors, or most cameras at this point, and constantly scanning its atmosphere and making on-the-fly decisions in real time. But thousands less. And then, all the miles driven with this autopilot are used to upload the data back to their servers and train the entire fleet. So this whole system is a continuous self-improving thing. The higher it is ******, the faster it can get better.

So it requires a lot of computing, a lot of horsepower to be clear, and a lot of smart code. And that's what Tesla has been really good at. So Tesla had their AI day a few days back. You probably haven't heard of it, but they do it every year. They live stream a bunch of conversations from Tesla engineers about computer vision and how their neural networks have evolved over time and their focus on building autonomous cars that rely on computer vision and their synthetic visual cortex. It's really great, lots of informative, complicated stuff. And this year, they unveiled their new custom D1 chip, which is a chip designed and manufactured entirely by a car company specifically designed for Tesla's complete self-driving algorithms based on driving footage. Designed to train even faster. And they're going to basically replace all of their GPUs that they're currently using. This supercomputer is designed to do computer vision machine learning. It's a big deal. And so at some point during all of this, Elon is talking on stage and then he says something about, Tesla is basically a robotics company. - And if you think about it, that's fine, yes. I could see it. I mean, obviously, Tesla builds cars, so we'll still call them a car company. But like it's Tesla's AI Day and they're giving a presentation and they're trying to make a show as cool as possible for recruitment purposes, they're going to call it robots. That's why they make robots that are on wheels. But yes, in this way you can understand it mentally. It's like, well, yes. Self-driving cars are just one application of AI and computer vision and robotics to solve just that problem. So this is what is happening. It's a bunch of sensors scanning its environment and making a bunch of decisions based on that. And then training future versions of it based on what happens. That's just what's happening in self-driving cars. So I can see it making sense. Then Elon said this right after. - It kinda makes sense to put it in a human form. He says that it makes sense to make these robots in humanoid form. And that's where I disagree. So is this newly unveiled Tesla robot. It's called the Tesla Bot.

Thanks for read my blog. Hope you know some new technology. So please write comment section what is upcoming new technology. See you soon next blog and explain what exact of Tesla Bot.
